The school rimdro was organized on April 4, 2024, from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm at Phuentsholing Higher Secondary School, Phuentsholing. This rimdro aimed to involve students and teachers in religious activities and to ward off any negative spirits or bad luck from the school. The event was attended by all staff members of the school as well as the students.
A team consisting of the school’s rimdro coordinator, class twelve students, teachers, and the principal also assisted in managing the rimdro. If school rimdros are held yearly, people may live prosperous lives without negative spirits around. Students were instructed to go to the choesham in the Multi-Purpose Hall (MPH) according to their classes. Various activities were conducted during the program, including dance performances and a hydro-rocket demonstration. Breakfast was served to students and teachers at 10 am, followed by lunch at 1:30 pm, along with refreshments such as juice, tea, and cake. The rimdro successfully concluded at 7:00 pm.
As the rimdro was filled with joy, several people were present. At the end of the event, the teachers and those assisting with the rimdro were served dinner. There was a sense of satisfaction on the faces of everyone, including the management team, captains, teachers, and students who helped prepare for the rimdro. The school community felt safer and happier after the rimdro.
